The 1900's saw a number of changes coming to the Department.  The star style badge was changed to it's current design.  The
Department swelled to over 300 officers as the city's population grew.  The Fourth and Fifth Districts were added to address the
expanding city borders.  The police ambulance service was established in November 1907.  Motor vehicles also became a new
headache for law enforcement.
